An online directory and marketplace for restaurants that brings together suppliers, software, services, and events in one comprehensive platform. The platform was developed using React for the front-end and Ruby on Rails for the back-end, with a focus on performance, scalability, and real-world business needs.
The platform features fast search and filtering powered by Elastic Search, enabling users to search by keywords, categories, and filters with results updating almost instantly. Advanced sorting prioritizes listings with higher-tier subscriptions and enabled add-ons, helping vendors maximize their visibility.
Each vendor has a dedicated listing page with structured information. The platform pre-creates many vendor listings using AI and curated data, allowing vendors to later claim and manage their listings. A full subscription system enables vendors to upgrade or downgrade plans, add features, and manage renewals securely.
